IRCF FUNDED Projects

Public Address System

Round 1

Supported with $20,000 to build organisational capacity and increases community engagement through installation of a public address system across four recreation areas in Junee.

The organisation reflects on the impact of this project:

“Its been a big help to the community. Any community group can use the facility and they have access to four different grounds.
We used to have to hire the equipment. It is security, knowing that the speakers are there in the community and we don’t have to rely on an outside organisation.
It also means we don’t have to make sure we have the amount of money put aside to hire the speaker system.
There are a few user groups that it has helped, and I know it has been appreciated by the people who have used the areas.”
