Toolbox Grant for Shared NFP Resources

Riverina School Boys Football Carnival received $9,019 to purchase shared EFTPOS terminals for the NFP sector to use.

The funds will facilitate the purchase of six Square terminals, portable EFTPOS terminals that will be made available as a Shared Community Resource that can be accessed by local NFP community groups to allow for cashless purchases at their activities, events and festivals.

With the emergence of digital wallets and contactless payments, the introduction of cashless payment systems has become a necessity for event organisers and NFP groups. The purchase of these terminals as a shared resource means that the organisations can increase their income streams by ensuring they have the facilities to accept cashless payments.

What is the Toolbox of Support?

Toolbox Grants are only available to previously funded applicants to the IRCF program that are looking to lead a project that supports multiple organisations working on common capacity issues.  Funding is available through a simple rapid response grant process to respond to shared capacity issues that are present throughout the program and need to be acted on in a timely manner. You can explore the Toolbox Guidelines to see if your project can be supported through this mechanism.
