Collaborative Networking Luncheon in Ulladulla Toolbox Project
During April 2022, Community Connect Southern Shoalhaven successfully applied for a $1,280 Toolbox Grant to host a collaborative conversation with fellow Ulladulla NFPs.
Community Connect Southern Shoalhaven launched their 3 year Better Together program with a networking event in April 2022. The networking event brought together 70 attendees, a mix of business leaders and community participants, to learn about resilience fatigue with practical tips on thriving with change.
Keynote speaker, Alison Earl, presented on the topic ‘From Resilience Fatigue to Thriving with Change’. With volunteer fatigue and burnout being a significant challenge for the NFP sector in Ulladulla, this event provided an opportunity for attendees to develop strategies for overcoming fatigue.
The Better Together program is an initiative of the Community Connect organisation that aims to unite the Brains of Business with the Labour of Community to develop a strong and thriving Ulladulla. This event was the first in a series that will provide the NFP sector with an opportunity to network with businesses and other NFP organisations.
The $1,280 Toolbox Grant covered the costs for the attendance of two representatives from each of the eight NFPs participating in the IRCF program, to encourage their attendance and connection with this important networking opportunity. .
