Safe Waters Community Care Inc. was established in August 2019 to assist the most vulnerable people in our local area including, but not limited to; people experiencing homelessness, those fleeing domestic violence and assisting people with substance misuse difficulties.

Leadership Development and Establishing Operation of Safe Shelter
Round 1
Supported with $30,000 for the recruitment of a Shelter Manager to establish the operational procedures for the Ulladulla shelter for homeless people.
Operational Violence Prevention Training for Volunteers & Management Staff
Round 2
Supported with $3,900 to empower staff and volunteers with the skills to de-escalate conflict and violence situations.
ASES Accreditation for Financially Sustainable Homeless Services
Round 3
Supported with $16,565 to build expansion of homelessness services, allowing access to longer term government funding with formal Australian Service Excellence Standards (ASES) accreditation and policies and procedures update.
