Strengthening Muurrbay & Aboriginal Languages for the Future
Round 1 Grants
Supported with $14,600 to address the sustainability of Muurrbay and more widely the survival of local Aboriginal languages by updating organisational policies, procedure and plans.
The organisations’ reflections on the impact of their IRCF Partnership grant thus far…
“We engaged a facilitator, Kristal Kinsela who is an Aboriginal lady with more than 16 years of experience in education, training, organisational and workforce development for strategic and business plans and it’s been very positive. It’s good to see things from a different angle.
It was good to come together, Muurrbay Board and Staff, as we’re all here for a common goal.
We came together as a group and nutted out- Where do we take it from here? How do we diversify?
It’s good to have a vision and direction of where we’re going now. We all walked away refreshed and looking forward to the future.”
