IRCF FUNDED Projects

Scoping Governance

Round 1

Supported with $44,912 to build organisational capacity by developing and implementing a strong governance framework from which to train and support other local Not for profits and social enterprises in Bowraville and the Nambucca Valley.

The organisation reflects on the impact of the project:

“We’re setting ourselves up to assist other not-for-profits in the area by giving them governance training. Governance can be daunting. We want to walk alongside organisations and help them grow and improve employment opportunities. We’ve got a strong project plan in place and we’re working on our program principles, governance and organisation principles.

We’ve been more into developing relationships than governance, so this grant is ideal.”
