Bowraville Innovative Social Enterprises Precinct Incorporated
The Bowraville Innovative Social Enterprises Precinct (BISEP) is a network of people who can hear ideas and explore employment or collaborative opportunities in a welcoming and supportive environment.
IRCF FUNDED Projects
Supported with $44,912 to build organisational capacity by developing and implementing a strong governance framework from which to train and support other local Not for profits and social enterprises in Bowraville and the Nambucca Valley.
The organisation reflects on the impact of the project:
“We’re setting ourselves up to assist other not-for-profits in the area by giving them governance training. Governance can be daunting. We want to walk alongside organisations and help them grow and improve employment opportunities. We’ve got a strong project plan in place and we’re working on our program principles, governance and organisation principles.
We’ve been more into developing relationships than governance, so this grant is ideal.”
Supported with $25,000 to improve governance skills for local NFPs in the Nambucca Valley by establishing a working group to inform the delivery of expert governance training.
Nambucca Valley Collective NFP Sustainability Initiative
Supported with $75,653 to facilitate a scoping and feasibility study into an operational model for financial sustainability and ongoing capacity building for a collective of Nambucca Valley NFP’s.
