Community Development Officer to Continue IRCF Impact

Junee Community Development received $23,695 to employ a Community Development Officer to continue to build on the work implemented by IRCF. As part of this project, the Community Centre will also subscribe to iClick2learn’s online community resources to support both Junee Community Centre and the broader NFP community.

The funds directed into the newly created facilitation position will allow for continued community engagement, community connection and networking building, building ability of community organisations and individuals, and importantly interagency meetings and the continuation of the community roadmap.

This position will build on the work implemented by IRCF over the life of the program continuing to unite community and their conversations.

Many organisations would not be aware of or have access to iclick2learn resources. The Community Centre subscribing to these will allow sharing of these resources, upskilling of volunteers and importantly upskilling of JCC staff to embed the skills the resources support within community.

What is the Toolbox of Support?

Toolbox Grants are only available to previously funded applicants to the IRCF program that are looking to lead a project that supports multiple organisations working on common capacity issues.  Funding is available through a simple rapid response grant process to respond to shared capacity issues that are present throughout the program and need to be acted on in a timely manner. You can explore the Toolbox Guidelines to see if your project can be supported through this mechanism.
