Junee Toolbox Grant Awarded

Junee Roundhouse Rail Museum received a $23,600 grant through Toolbox Funding to deliver the Culmination of their Digital Capacity Project.

This project provides digital technical support to upgrade and implement changes to the Museum website and provide training and work instructions to support functionality and use for current and future volunteers. The project builds on the museums ongoing partnership with Junee High School, and will provide an opportunity for students to participate in the digitisation of the collection, providing both training and education that is formally recognised.

The learnings and plans from this project will be widely shared with other NFPs within the community. This will assist in strengthening event framework for the sector in the future.

What is the Toolbox of Support?

Toolbox Grants are only available to previously funded applicants to the IRCF program that are looking to lead a project that supports multiple organisations working on common capacity issues.  Funding is available through a simple rapid response grant process to respond to shared capacity issues that are present throughout the program and need to be acted on in a timely manner. You can explore the Toolbox Guidelines to see if your project can be supported through this mechanism.
