Toolbox Project Approved for Nambucca Valley
The most recent Nambucca Valley Roadmap identified a shared need for skilled and capable office bearers in NFP organisations. In response to this, Miimi Aboriginal Corporation successfully applied for $9,222 in Toolbox Funds to provide MYOB and XERO training, and a Grant Writing 101 workshop.
It is expected that seven NFPs will complete the bookkeeping training, and six NFPs will attend the Grant Writing workshop.
This project will provide organisations with the skills to navigate online bookkeeping software, reducing the need for paid accounting services for basic processes. These skills will also support organisational efficiency with improved record keeping.
What is the Toolbox of Support?
Toolbox Grants are only available to previously funded applicants to the IRCF program that are looking to lead a project that supports multiple organisations working on common capacity issues. Funding is available through a simple rapid response grant process to respond to shared capacity issues that are present throughout the program and need to be acted on in a timely manner. You can explore the Toolbox Guidelines to see if your project can be supported through this mechanism.
